My Story
My journey into mental health started with a deep curiosity about psychology and a desire to understand people from all walks of life. I graduated from Merrimack College in 2006 with a bachelor’s in psychology and women’s studies. After earning my Master’s in Social Work from Simmons College in 2008, I began my career as a family therapist and school adjustment counselor. In 2019, I opened my private practice, which has grown into an online space where I help women across New England.
My own journey with anxiety began in my early adulthood which I found to be filled with uncertainty and pressure to conform to societal expectations. I struggled with worries and fear of the unknown which often led to a lack of confidence and overwhelm. Through therapy I learned valuable strategies to manage the symptoms of my anxiety which not only transformed my experiences but also sparked my passion for helping others navigate their own challenges. This first hand understanding shapes my approach as a therapist allowing me to connect with clients on a deeper level.
Outside of my practice, I’m a mom, wife, sister, daughter, coach nature lover and coffee enthusiast.
