Our FAQ section is here to answer some of the most common questions you may have about our services, approach, and what to expect. What types of therapy do you offer for children and adolescents?I use various visual aids and online tools to engage young clients in therapy and teach emotional regulation skills, tailored to each child's needs and developmental level.

Do you offer virtual therapy sessions?Yes, I offer virtual sessions to provide flexibility and convenience for clients. I will send you the link when your first appointment is scheduled.

How do I know if my child needs therapy and what should I do next?If you're noticing changes in your child's behavior or mood, and/or they are facing challenges at home or school, a consultation can help determine if therapy is the right step.

How long are therapy sessions, and how often will I need to attend?Sessions typically last 45-50 minutes, with frequency depending on your needs and preferences.

What are your fees, and do you accept insurance?I accept a variety of insurance plans for payment of services. If you have a plan that is not accepted, my fee is $150 per session and I can provide you with a receipt of services to submit for reimbursement from your insurance company. It is up to you to verify these out of network benefits by calling the number on the back of your card.

How can I prepare for my first session?I will send you a clinical intake form to fill out to help us start the conversation about what your concerns are. We will clarify your goals for therapy and make a plan for your progress.

How do I know if therapy is working?Signs of progress can include gaining new insights, learning new skills and applying them effectively and seeing reduction in symptoms of anxiety or depression that initially brought you to therapy.

What if I am not a woman or girl? Can I still seek treatment here?Yes! I have experience treating children and adults facing a variety of concerns. Please reach out to see if we might be a good match.

What should I do if I have to cancel or reschedule an appointment?Please notify me at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancelations with less than 24 hour notice are subject to a late cancelation fee of $100.
